I haven’t bought sneakers in years. Overall I don’t understand why I need to pay that much for shoes made in China that will never be as comfortable as a pair of Quoddy or Birkenstock. I only own one pair of busted Jack Purcell I bought at Nom De Guerre for 20 bucks many years ago. Unfortunately Converse seems to have lowered the quality of “regular” Jack Purcell, so I haven’t replaced those yet. I would love to find a pair of those MHL x Jack Purcell that everyone is tumblring, but I’m not counting on that. Same story for those Barena Friulana I’m obsessed with… God I hate “Japan Only”.
